a small pet should not need much of you. this page is the whole picture.

what doompi is

doompi is a digital wellbeing companion. you privately choose apps, categories, or websites through apple’s screen time picker and set a daily allowance. apple counts time for those choices and can place a shield over them when the allowance is complete. doompi does not read the screen or see what you type, watch, or browse.

what stays on your phone

these live on your device:

• the name you give doompi
• happiness and the current pose
• your daily allowance and whether protection is on
• apple’s private tokens for the apps, categories, or websites you select
• which usage checkpoint has been reached and whether a shield is active

there is no doompi account. you do not sign in.

what we do not collect

• the contents of other apps, messages, photos, location, or contacts
• raw browsing activity, keystrokes, or a detailed history of what you viewed
• health or clinical information
• advertising identifiers for tracking

purchases

if you buy doompi plus, apple handles the payment. we use revenuecat to know whether plus is active so extra pet styles and longer allowances can unlock. revenuecat receives an anonymous app user id and purchase status. it does not receive your pet’s name, selected app tokens, allowance, or screen time checkpoints.

apple services

doompi uses apple’s family controls, device activity, and managed settings frameworks to request screen time authorization, count time for your private selections, and show shields. it also uses live activities so doompi can appear on the dynamic island and lock screen. apple controls these system features and their privacy protections.

deleting data

delete the app and the local pet data goes with it. restore purchases still works later if you buy plus again on the same apple id.

children

doompi is not directed at children under 13. we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

changes

if this policy changes, we will update this page. the date below is the latest version.
