plain language for a small app. by using doompi, you agree to these terms.
the app
doompi is a personal digital wellbeing app. you choose apps, categories, or websites, set a daily allowance, and allow apple’s screen time frameworks to shield those choices when the allowance is complete. doompi is not a parental control service, medical device, or treatment for addiction.
your device
you need an iphone running ios 18 or later and must grant screen time authorization for blocking features. doompi can ask ios to shield your selected apps, but ios controls enforcement. permissions can be revoked and no self-control app can promise an unbreakable block. live activities are optional and subject to device support and system settings.
doompi plus
some extras — including another pet style and longer allowances — are sold as doompi plus. payment is through apple. subscriptions renew until you cancel in your apple id settings. restore purchases is in settings.
if a charge fails or apple refunds a purchase, plus may turn off until the entitlement is active again.
content and the pet
the name you give the pet stays on your phone. please do not use the app in a way that breaks the law or apple’s rules.
no warranty
doompi is provided as is. screen time monitoring, shields, notifications, and live activities can be delayed or limited by ios, low power mode, authorization changes, or system settings. we do not promise uninterrupted blocking or island time, and we are not liable for lost time, lost work, or access to an app you expected doompi to limit.
privacy
the privacy page is part of these terms.
changes
we may update the app and these terms. if you keep using doompi after a change, that is acceptance of the new terms.
